*If a guest is arriving on the morning bus from Adelaide and wishes to continue on to Alice Springs the next morning, the Mining Winch photo & 2 Hour Noodling can be rescheduled for the morning of arrival.
*If too cloudy for the Star Tour, Radekas will refund the Guest direct on the night that component of package.
*Mining Winch Photo is the guest harnessed in a winch wearing a hard hat and their Backpack or holding their suitcase swinging over a covered 6.5m shaft pretending to be winched in and out of their Underground Accommodation - Due to Public Liability reasons we unfortunately are unable to physically winch the guest in and out of their accommodation.
*Opal Shop Happy Hour is heavily discounted prices on Opal Jewellery.
*2 Hour Noodling is Radekas takes the guests the "Jewellers Shop" Opal Field to Noodle (Fossicking for their own Opals).
*Extra Nights available at Normal Rates and Children Under 12 can be catered for in these packages by deducting $25 for the Desert Breakaway's Tour and a further $10 for the Star Tour.

HIGHLIGHTS: *Underground Motel Room * Our Owners, (Opal Miners here for more than 20 years), will personally show you the entire premises including old locked up mining areas being prepared for future accommodation needs & their own underground "Dugout" home separate from the business * 4 hour guided tour of the Opal Fields and Breakaway's Scenic Reserve & the Dog Fence *20 Minute Scenic Flight over the same *Swag out under the stars with our night sky expert and spot light for native animals including Dingo, Kangaroo & Emu, (shooting them only with a camera).

Day 1: Arriving in Coober Pedy check into Reception at Radekas Downunder for your underground motel. At 1pm join our 4 hour Breakaway's Tour with our Opal Miner Tour Guide. Return from the tour at 5pm for a free evening to do whatever you like.

Day 2: Join the Owners, Manager and Crew in our private kitchen for a Continental Breakfast and a private viewing of the Opal they have mined. During the morning a 20 minute scenic flight over the opal fields, town & Breakaway's awaits you plus a trip to the Owners private underground home.

The afternoon is leisure time for you to prepare for the night ahead. Pick up time is 15 minutes before sunset, we will take you to the Big Winch Lookout to view the setting sun. Then to Dinner at the Mud Hut Restaurant. A short visit back to your motel for anything you may need for the night. You then travel out of town for an introduction to that nights night sky, along with a spotlight search for our native animals. About midnight you arrive at our site to swag out the night in the semi arid desert - you can: sit beside the camp fire and share a chat and refreshment with your guide, view the stars with the naked eye, our binoculars and telescope, listen to the sounds of the night, fall asleep in your swag.

Day 3: Wake up to a cup of Billy Tea or a coffee, check out the tracks on the ground to see what animals passed by during the night, watch the Sunrise. Travel back to Radekas for a continental breakfast in your Motel Room. Free time for the rest of the morning before your transfer to the Airport or Coach Terminal.

Inclusions: Use of Underground Motel from arrival until departure, continental breakfast for 2 mornings, Desert Breakaway's Tour, Scenic Flight, Private home tour with the Owner plus the business premises, Dinner for 1 night, night sky presentation, swags & linen, return transfers to Airport / Coach Terminal.

Exclusions: Airfares, Train and Coach Fares to and from Coober Pedy, Lunches and 1 Dinner. Train transfers to and from Manguri to Coober Pedy.
